A horse’s teeth take up more space in their head then their brain! Maybe you knew that, but did you know this- Adult male horses generally have 40 teeth and females 36?
By the way, don’t let that fact about their brain fool you. As anyone who spends time around horses knows, they are actually quite smart. Horses are recognized as having the capacity to solve advanced cognitive challenges involving categorization learning and a degree of concept formation. That, of course, is in addition to their ability to learn simple tasks.
